 Find your item
If you already know what you want to buy, the easiest way to find it is to type its name into the search box on the top left of the website.
Alternatively you can click the links around the website until you discover something you like.
To get more information about a product, click on its name, image or the more... link to go to that products information page.
The product information page contains :
- image/s of the item
- the item's availability
- More detailed information and dimensions (if applicable)
- The buttons you will need to add the item to your shopping basket
 Add it to your shopping basket
The shopping basket is where you can store items you may like to buy later. You can always delete or change quantities in your shopping basket.
When you have found what you like (or what you might like) click the "add to basket" button on the item's product information page or from one of the lists.
If you can't see an "add to basket" button, it's because the item may be un-available at that time.
When you have added everything you like to your shopping basket, click "proceed to checkout" in the top right-hand corner of the shopping basket page.
 Place your order
Your order can be placed in the following ways depending on your country
- Directly online
- Select the product or products you would like to buy
- Add them to your shopping basket
- In the shopping basket view - select "proceed to checkout"
- Enter address details - your invoice/billing and delivery address
- On the order details page - select "I would like to pay now, online, with my credit/debit card."
- Click proceed
- Enter Credit/debit card details
- Confirm payment
- If all is OK your order has been sent to us and a copy email to you
- The card transaction will appear on your statement as Colliery Road.
- By post please note this option may not be available for some countries and may not show up as an option on the order details page.
- Select the product or products you would like to buy
- Add them to your shopping basket
- In the shopping basket view - select "proceed to checkout"
- Enter address details
- On the order details page - select "I would like to post my order and pay by cheque, postal order or my credit card."
- Click proceed
- you are then taken to a page where you can print your order for posting.
- If you choose to order by post you can pay either by cheque or credit card.
- Cheques must be in UK pounds sterling and drawn from a UK bank - please make the cheque payable to Colliery Road.
- If you use your credit card - the transaction will appear on your statement as Colliery road. the details we need to proces your credit card are detailed in the email.
What happens next ?
If you place an order by mail please indicate a method by which we can contact you should there be any problems. You must include payment if your order is by post.
When we recieve payment for your order - and it has been checked - we will try to proccess it the same day - if payment is by cheque it can take up to 5 days or longer to clear the cheque and despatch the goods.
We will only contact you by email if there is a problem with the order or there is a stock problem or there is a break in supply of the product. Otherwise your order will be despatched once we have cleared funds and stock available.
Once your order has been checked and accepted - it will be processed and invoiced based on stock availability - at this point your card will be debited for the full order ammount, once your order has been despatched we will send you an email informing you of the items that have shipped this may include the shipping method and a parcel tracking number.
